Features

The Lower Stump Bandaging Simulator provides realistic practice and demonstration of standard lower limb bandaging procedures. The lower torso is representative of a patient in a supine position with legs slightly abducted: one leg is amputated below the knee and the other at mid-thigh, replicating the range of presentations encountered in clinical practice.

The torso is long enough to allow the bandage to be carried around the body over the uninvolved hip at the level of the iliac crest, supporting accurate bandaging technique for both amputation levels. The simulator can also be used to demonstrate the attachment of prosthetic devices. Note: there is no embedded, palpable skeletal material in this model.
