Features

The Infant IV Leg provides a realistic training model for practising intravenous access procedures commonly performed in neonatal and infant patients. Extremely thin synthetic skin and small-lumen tubing with thin walls simulate the delicate veins found in infant patients, providing lifelike resistance and blood flashback for developing accurate technique in paediatric and neonatal IV procedures.

Learners can access the greater and lesser saphenous veins as well as the dorsal venous arch of the foot, providing multiple training sites for repeated practice at key infant venous access locations. Venous pressure is adjustable using IV bag height, allowing instructors to vary scenario conditions. Self-sealing veins support repeated puncture for high-volume training environments. Replacement components extend the lifespan of the trainer for sustained classroom use.
