Features

The Suture Kit is a versatile, accessible trainer for practising suturing techniques at all levels, from beginner to advanced. The multi-layer pad features epidermis, dermis, fascia, fat, and muscle layers, allowing learners to make incisions and determine both the depth of suturing and the technique appropriate for each layer.

The kit supports a full range of wound closure and surgical skills, including knot tying, stapling and placement of staples, use of surgical glue, deep tissue suturing (placement and closure), and subcutaneous tissue suturing (placement and closure). The skin layer allows placement and closure of superficial sutures. A tray is included to hold the pad securely during practice, and all instruments are supplied in a compact carry case.
