Features

The Intradermal Injection Simulator is a forearm trainer moulded from a real forearm, extending from the wrist to just below the elbow, to replicate the anatomical feel and appearance of the injection site. It is designed for practising intradermal (intracutaneous) injection techniques used for procedures such as tuberculosis (TB) testing and other skin-based injections.

The trainer features eight injection sites for practising intracutaneous injections. When fluid is injected correctly, a characteristic skin welt forms to confirm proper injection technique, and can be removed by withdrawing the fluid after practice. Each injection site can be used repeatedly by multiple students, making the simulator suitable for classroom demonstrations and hands-on training. Liquid skin repair is included to help extend the lifespan of the simulator; note that the skin is not replaceable and the trainer will eventually require replacement.
