The Micro-Preemie Simulator represents a 25-week gestation premature infant, providing realistic, repeatable training for the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence needed to manage high-risk neonatal scenarios. From airway management and vascular access to routine patient care and congenital anomaly training, the simulator supports competency-based learning before caring for premature infants in clinical settings.

The simulator features realistic low muscle tone, an anatomically correct airway with visible chest rise during ventilation, and bilateral and unilateral lung configurations for varied scenario delivery. Umbilical access supports fluid administration and blood withdrawal, and peripheral IV sites are provided in the hand, foot, and scalp. Interchangeable congenital anomaly modules allow instructors to introduce omphalocele and myelomeningocele (neural tube defect) scenarios.
