The Advanced Injection Belly provides a realistic training tool for teaching proper insulin pump infusion set placement and subcutaneous injection techniques. Learners can practise correct site selection and rotation while avoiding the recommended 2 in. (5 cm) area around the navel.
Constructed with lifelike skin and tissue that simulates the feel of the abdomen, the trainer allows users to pinch the skin as they would during real injections. A protective backing prevents needles from passing through the trainer during use.
Adjustable straps allow the trainer to be attached to a manikin or a live participant to support realistic patient interaction and simulation exercises. The soft material can be punctured repeatedly without showing holes, making it suitable for repeated training sessions.
