- Multi-layered pad containing filled veins used for practising the cut-down procedure
- Veins can only be located by palpating surface as they are deep within skin layers
- Tissue incision
- Cannula insertion
- Veins injection both distally and proximally
- Tying off veins. It is recommended veins are tied off each time so that the next student may repeat the procedure without losing the contents from the veins
Features
- Layered pad simulating the epidermis and subdermal layer
- Three straight 150mm long veins charged with artificial blood
- 10 or 12 cuts can be made on the pad making it economical for training
