Features

The Infant Intraosseous Infusion Simulator provides accurate and realistic training in paediatric IO infusion, representing a six-month-old infant. Prior to this simulator, educators resorted to unsanitary animal bones for practice. This model provides a clean, repeatable, and clinically accurate alternative for PALS and paediatric emergency training programmes.

Both legs feature three palpable landmarks: the patella, tibia, and tibial tuberosity. The bone inserts are designed with four sides, each side supporting multiple needle punctures, making each insert highly cost-effective for classroom use. Aspiration is possible from both legs. The replaceable bone inserts and replacement leg skins extend the life of the simulator indefinitely, keeping running costs low. A 15-gauge needle is recommended for use during simulation.
