Features

The Patient Education Tracheostomy Care Set is designed for teaching patients and caregivers the tracheostomy care skills they need to perform at home. The set includes both an adult and an infant manikin, supporting a wide range of patient and caregiver education scenarios.

The adult manikin features oral and nasal passages, pharynx, epiglottis, trachea, oesophagus, tracheostomy site, and cricoid cartilage. The mouth and jaw are flexible to allow oral suctioning practice. The trachea branches into left and right bronchial trees, enabling realistic suction and tube care training. Stoma cleansing and external tracheal site maintenance can be performed just as on a real patient.

The infant manikin is used to teach parents and caregivers basic paediatric tracheostomy care skills, and is also used with children to support their comfort and self-esteem during home care education.
