Features

The NG Tube and Tracheostomy Skills Simulator has been developed to support instruction, training, and practice of vital tracheostomy skills and gastrointestinal care procedures through nasal and oral access. The simulator features realistic anatomical landmarks, trachea, oesophagus, lungs, and stomach.

For enhanced realism, hydroxyethyl cellulose can be mixed with water to simulate mucous-like fluids. Fluid can be added to the lungs and stomach for realistic tracheostomy care and suctioning practice. The simulator accepts size 6 tracheostomy tubes and a size 6 NG tube. Note: tracheostomy tube, ET tube, and NG tube are not included.
