- The skeletal landmarks such as the anterior superior iliac spine, posterior superior iliac spine, and greater trochanter can be felt, and the model is ideal for practicing the determination of the injection site
- If an incorrect site is chosen, a warning is given by blinking of the red lamp and buzzing
- If the correct site has been punctured, the green lamp is lit to indicate success (only at Clarke’s and Hochstetter’s points)
- If the correct site has been punctured, fluid can be injected (water)
