Features

The Intraosseous Infusion and Femoral Access Leg attaches directly to any Child Airway Management or CPR Torso, enabling both IO infusion and femoral vascular access training on the same platform. For IO training, palpable landmarks including the patella, tibia, and tibial tuberosity guide correct needle placement, and a pressurised system allows fluid aspiration to confirm correct IO access.

For femoral access training, a palpable arterial pulse and realistic blood flashback from the pressurised venous system confirm correct vessel entry. The articulated leg allows learners to practise correct patient positioning for femoral access procedures. Replaceable bones, skin, and injection pad support repeated training use over the lifespan of the simulator.
