Features

The Advanced Venepuncture and Injection Arm provides complete venous access training across IV therapy, phlebotomy, and medication administration. The trainer features an extensive eight-line vascular system, allowing learners to practise venepuncture at both primary and secondary venous access locations, including starting IVs and introducing over-the-needle IV catheters.

The replaceable skin rolls as veins are palpated, and a discernible pop sensation is felt when entering the vein, reinforcing correct venepuncture technique. Soft, flexible fingers and wrist movement support the development of proper positioning and manipulation skills. Intramuscular injections can be performed in the deltoid muscle using natural bony landmarks for site identification, and intradermal injection sites in the upper arm produce realistic skin welts when distilled water is used.

A single external fluid bag supplies simulated blood to all veins simultaneously, keeping setup simple. The soft, lifelike skin is designed for durability and repeated training use.

• Dorsal metacarpal vein

Antecubital region:

• Median cephalic vein

Injection Training
