The “Surgical Sally” Bandaging Simulator is a readily available patient with 14 surgical wounds, including a mid-sternal split with two simulated drains, a stage 2 sacral decubitus ulcer and a leg amputation stump.

The skin has been reformulated so it is drier, allowing bandages to adhere better. Wound closures feature surgical staples for the mid-sternal split, thoracotomy, nephrectomy, laparotomy, abdominal hysterectomy and amputation stump. Special vinyl formulations create the most realistic look and feel possible, and the flexible skin realistically responds to adhesives and all types of bandaging procedures.

Ideal for teaching wound management skills, dressing changes and bandaging techniques, Surgical Sally lets students conveniently practise wound management, cleaning and dressing changes.
