Features

The Arterial Puncture Arm provides realistic training for arterial blood sampling procedures used to monitor blood gases. Designed to replicate the appearance and performance of a real arm, the trainer allows learners to practise identifying arterial puncture sites and performing arterial blood draws in a controlled training environment.

Learners locate puncture sites through palpation of the pulse at the radial and brachial arteries, developing proper technique and anatomical awareness. Realistic arterial pressure produces a natural back-flow of blood in the syringe, confirming correct needle placement in the artery during training. Replaceable artery tubing sections extend the lifespan of the trainer for repeated classroom use.
