The TruInfant IO Leg is a realistic paediatric simulator designed to build confidence in time-critical vascular access skills. Anatomically based on a 5-month-old infant (50th percentile), the tibial access site is clearly defined with a tibial tuberosity and patella to guide correct landmarking and needle placement — with lifelike resistance as the needle enters the medullary cavity and simulated blood flow confirming correct placement.

The IV cannulation site delivers lifelike resistance and blood flashback to reinforce correct vessel entry and needle control. The IM injection site simulates realistic tissue resistance to build procedural confidence. The leg unscrews from the base for quick replacement, and the bundle includes one fully assembled unit and forty IO inserts. Ready for use in under 5 minutes.
