The Smart Airway® Child combines the proven AirSim® airway — developed from CT DICOM data of a 6-year-old — with sensor technology and app-enabled performance data, enabling guided learning, repeatable assessments, and quantitative feedback for consistent paediatric airway competency development. The Smart Airway App* provides structured educational content, interactive tests, and in-app feedback to strengthen knowledge retention and engagement.

Quantitative metrics enable repeatable competency measurement, supported by timestamped video debrief and procedure-specific resources for improved instructor feedback efficiency. The model includes a realistic chest for visible chest rise and fall and an internal camera for landmark identification. Tongue oedema can be introduced for a difficult airway scenario. Operational in under 10 minutes and supplied in a durable carry case.
