TruWound replicates the size, appearance, and feel of a large bullet wound in the upper thigh and is designed for clinically aligned wound packing technique. The pressurised blood system simulates both venous and arterial flows, allowing facilitators to calibrate scenario intensity to learning objectives. Three wounds can run simultaneously, with instructors able to activate flow to 1, 2, or 3 wounds to match cohort size and session design.

Visual feedback confirms when correct pressure has been applied to the packed wound, supporting consistent technique standardisation and competency assessment. The model is designed for fast-paced classroom environments and is ready to use in under 5 minutes, if the blood system is empty, simply pour the blood back into the pump.
