Designed as a ‘simulation suite in a box’, the easily portable SimClever™ system can be used in almost any simulation setting, whether that’s a skills lab, simulated hospital ward, surgical theatre or community houses setting, a GP surgery or ambulance.

A cost-effective way to level up existing manikins
This ingenious solution can be paired with many different manikins or task trainers, allowing educators to easily upgrade and extend the life of their existing teaching aids, or to increase the functionality of entry level manikins.
It can also be used with standardised patients to simulate a much wider range of medical scenarios.
The modular system offers a variety of training options dependent on training requirements.
The premium Hospital Bundle
The most comprehensive package is the ASCB012 Hospital Bundle, which brings together all the available SimClever™ software and hardware elements, including control panel and patient monitor, five sizes of laryngoscope with inbuilt camera, fully customisable library of scenarios, laboratory images and results, stethoscope and location tags, lung, heart and bowel auscultation, mechanical ventilation simulator and hybrid defibrillator/AED simulator.
At the centre of the system is the Windows-based C-Panel Control Module – a hub for managing all the SimClever™ modules from one easy to use software package. This can be accessed from anywhere with a Windows PC or tablet and internet connection (not included – please check for minimum specification requirements).
Scenario modelling
By adding the C-Nario Scenario Creating Module, users can create multiple scenarios and automate essential findings for each.
The list of scenarios that can be uploaded from the included library, shared from other SimClever™ users, or created manually, is endless.
For example, the system can replicate the conditions of a geriatric patient with breathing difficulties, a child with elevated blood pressure, patients with stroke arrest, atrial fibrillation, anaphylaxis, febrile convulsion and so on.
As well as using over 40 pre-loaded simulations, trainers can add their own, or adapt settings on the fly, to further test a student’s skills or dynamically alter the system’s reactions to correct or incorrect interventions. These can also be shared into another library with other SimClever users as well as the ability to access others users’ shared scenarios.
Students can monitor vital signs on the C-Mon Patient Monitor Module which closely mimics the bedside monitors they will encounter in real-life.
The monitor displays ECG, SpO2, ETCO2, respiratory rate, body temperature, blood pressure and a variety of cardiac rhythms.
This module can also be used to access simulated laboratory results, diagnostic imaging and clinical information to help support diagnosis.
Auscultation simulation
The auscultation simulation module can be purchased as a standalone bundle – made up of the control panel, a sound library, the hybrid digital stethoscope and location markers – and is also included in the Virtual Hospital Bundle.
The database includes over 50 heart, lung and bowel sounds which were taken from real patients for lifelike audio quality, even as scenarios change.
This includes everything from healthy heart sounds of patients of all ages, right through to heart murmurs, bronchial breath sounds, pneumonia and hyperactive bowel.
