Increasing our knowledge at the Nasco World Training Event

Members of the Adam,Rouilly Sales Team were delighted to learn about the latest medical teaching products first-hand at a special distributor training event hosted by Nasco Healthcare.

The global event invited more than 120 guests, representing almost 40 countries, to the RMK AIMES University in Istanbul, Turkey.

It provided the opportunity for Nasco distributors to find out more about the leading manufacturer’s products, including existing task trainers, VR offerings and forthcoming models. This included exciting new and improved products, in Nasco’s range, which will be launched next year.

As well as product demonstrations and hands-on training, the Adam,Rouilly team members also enjoyed a variety of informative talks, including an address from Nasco’s newly-appointed CEO, Jacob Paul.

There was also the chance to network with other distributors and tour the impressive RMK AIMES Simulation Centre.

‘An impressive and useful event’

Adam, Rouilly Product Developer, Daniel Mogentale, said: “The latest training event from Nasco revealed that it is a very exciting time for the company with many plans coming together as part of a new growth strategy. Central to this, they are now very driven by customer feedback, about both service and products. As we know at Adam,Rouilly, this is truly a path to success.

“This was the first event Nasco have held abroad and it was wonderful to experience a medical teaching University overseas, as we rarely have the opportunity to do so. The facility was phenomenal, spanning multiple floors and many different specialisms.

“Heartening too were distinct similarities within medical teaching which felt very familiar. This included the need for specialised task trainers like those made by Nasco.

“The company put on an impressive event which was a combination of talks and the ability to get hands-on with some of their latest products. I found the talk by Dr. G. Ulufer Sivrikaya, Medical Director at RMK Aimes, particularly fascinating as she gave an insight into her 30-year career in medical simulation, including her time on the board of SESAM.

“Her presentation drew on how important simulation is in aviation safety, and how clinical simulation has comparatively lagged behind in the past. Today, however, simulation remains an integral part of both teaching and ongoing professional development for new and experienced clinicians alike.”

The four members of the Adam,Rouilly Sales Team in attendance all commented on how useful they found the whole event, particularly the product training.

This will enable them to continue providing knowledgeable and informed advice to Adam,Rouilly customers seeking anatomical models and clinical skills task trainers.
