Features
The Child CRiSis Starter Torso represents a 5-year-old child and is designed as an upgradeable foundation for PALS training. In its starter configuration it combines paediatric airway management, CPR, defibrillation, ECG monitoring, arrhythmia recognition, and pacing on a single platform, with arms and legs available separately to add IV access, IO infusion, and blood pressure monitoring as educational needs grow.
Realistic anatomical landmarks support intubation, ventilation, and suction training across a full range of airway devices. An inflatable stomach bladder identifies oesophageal insufflation, and separate lungs support auscultation training. The defibrillation chest skin is compatible with all standard manual, automatic, and semi-automatic defibrillators, monitors, and patient simulators. An internal load box absorbs the full strength of every shock to protect students and equipment. Four ECG sites and two defibrillation sites support realistic electrode and paddle placement.
