Supporting Healthcare Education Through Global Partnerships

Healthcare education has been at the heart of Adam,Rouilly for more than a century. When Guy Rouilly founded the business in 1918, his vision was to support healthcare education through high-quality teaching aids. As we grew, trusted overseas representatives became an important part of that journey, helping to bring our expertise to healthcare educators around the world while sharing the same commitment to quality, service and long-term collaboration.

More than a century later, healthcare education and simulation have evolved significantly, but one principle has remained unchanged: building trusted, long-term relationships. Today, that philosophy continues through our carefully selected network of around 70 distributor partners supporting customers across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific and Central Asia.

The success of our international network is built on trust, shared expertise and open communication. Some of our distributor relationships have now spanned more than 50 years, demonstrating the value of investing in long-term collaborations. In an increasingly fast-moving world, those enduring partnerships remain one of our greatest strengths.

Selecting the right distributor has always been about more than geographical reach. We look for organisations with strong market knowledge, experience within healthcare education and the ability to support customers locally. For our customers, this means working with knowledgeable professionals who understand their local market and can provide advice, demonstrations, training and ongoing support, backed by direct access to the Adam,Rouilly team.

Supporting our distributor partners extends far beyond supplying products. Online training, product demonstrations, customer visits, international exhibitions and regular communication all help ensure they remain informed, confident and equipped to support healthcare educators in their own regions. Face-to-face visits by senior members of our team provide valuable opportunities to reinforce those relationships, understand local market requirements, deliver product training and gather customer feedback directly, helping ensure local support continues to reflect the needs of healthcare educators around the world.

Communication is central to this approach. Multilingual support within our Export Sales team and close collaboration with our in-house Product Research and Development team ensure ideas, feedback and market insight can be shared quickly across our international network.

A recent example saw our Glucohand® Digital Glucometer Simulator adapted for the French market following feedback from our French distributor. It is a simple example, but one that demonstrates how knowledge flows in both directions. While we share product expertise and technical support with our distributors, they provide valuable insight into local markets and emerging educational needs, helping shape future product development.

Throughout 2026, Jose Palacios, Export Sales, has represented Adam,Rouilly at international exhibitions and visited distributor partners across the Americas, Europe and Asia, with further international visits planned. These visits reflect our long-term investment in our international network and our commitment to strengthening relationships and listening to the needs of healthcare educators in local markets.

Working closely with clinicians, physicians, universities, clinical skills trainers and our distributor partners ensures our products continue to evolve in line with the changing needs of healthcare education.

Wherever our team travels, one message is consistently reinforced: Adam,Rouilly is recognised for its quality, reliability and customer service. We view our distributor partners as an extension of our own team, recognising that the customer experience is shaped not only by the quality of our products, but by the strength of the people behind them.

For us, supporting healthcare education has never simply been about designing products. It is about building lasting relationships with the people who use them, teach with them and support them every day. More than 100 years after Guy Rouilly established the business, that commitment continues to shape everything we do, helping healthcare educators around the world prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals.
